Abortion is not a light topic for anybody regardless of their stance. Heavily weighed with moral, religious and ethical anchors, it’s becoming increasingly impossible to hear a calculated argument that doesn’t erupt into conflict. In response to my own frustrations, I’ve compiled my most convincing arguments towards the pro-choice movement into a somewhat informal essay.

It’s not that every single compliment we receive as women walking down a street has violent, predatory undertones; it’s the fact that when it does happen, we are defenseless due to the stigma that it’s “just a compliment” that we should go out of our ways to accept. However childish it may seemingly appear to look up to a pop star’s recovery as a source of inspiration for motivation when battling my own mental health, it has helped.
